Biofibre® Silva - recycle
The Biofibre® Silva product group contains the essence of Biofibre®. These are biobased and biodegradable compounds based on a biopolymer matrix and natural fibres. Biofibre® Silva is available in virgin as well as recycled quality.
The name “Silva” is based on the Latin origin for “forest” and symoolizes the importance of naturalness for this product group.
Highest proportions of bio-based raw materials are combined with the property of biodegradability.
It is suitable for a wide range of product applications, especially for solid packaging, consumer articles or moulded parts with comparable mechanical property requirements:

Biofibre® Silva reveals itself with excellent stiffness and strength and can be used for complex mouldings with long flow paths at low wall thicknesses.
